M42 w/ a C80ED *Unguided*

I took this shot of M42 about 7 days ago, about a day after I got my EQ6. 94x 30secs @ ISO1600, 10x bias & 10 Flats, the image is quite noisy, unfortunatly it's been doom & gloom for the last 7 days, so had no chance to add more data.

Nadeem, that's neither doomy nor gloomy! Very good. Nice to see the new mount in action.

Today I got round to writing a star rounding action for Photoshop. If you are sticking with unguided imaging it might be useful to you. Once written you click on a star with the magic wand tool and hit the chosen shortcutt button. And lo, your star is round.
