Sunday 17th Jan - observing from Lichfield, Staffs

Not posted here before (hello everyone!), as I'm more into the photographic side... or will be when it all works!

But my good friend and observing buddy were out with my new EZTouch mount (purchased from FLO - thanks Steve!), at the weekend. So much quicker to set up than the Tak EM400 GEM!!!

Had a great few hours before heading up the 'wooden hill' to bed.

We both live on the outskirts of Lichfield....

Both members of the Rosliston Astronomy Group - meet the last friday of each month at around 7.00pm at the Forestry Centre just out of the village if you're interested?

Don't get chance to do much in the week as I commute to Herefordshire and Andy's a GP who also does long hours... so we make the most of the weekends!

... with his Lightbridges and my expensive eyepieces!!!!

Ahhh. Unfortunately due to my partner being a nurse (working weird and wonderful shift patterns) and having a 3 year old son i`m stuck in the house during the evenings, thank god for my obs!!!!

I'd need a nurse if I asked for an observatory!

We might still be able to meet up at some stage though...?
