advice on spending money

i have a 6" schimt and want to use it for imaging my first atempts at using it have been poo, what adapters will i need i think focal reducer, do i need someing to sort out vignetting ? all so field flatner? !!!!!! im still new to all this so no idea on what i will need ,is there away i can make the 1.25 hole to 2" or is this not nessasary

I think you will want a focal reducer-flattener for sure but your dealer will know which ones work with the 6 inch. I have a Meade 10 inch with their standard f 6.3. I also use a revelation Crayford focuser because I found the moving mirror focus sytem hopeless for imaging. You will get vignetting but flat fields will reduce the problem.

celestron 102 wideveiw any good for imaging i dont want to spend a huge amout of money yet though i would like another refractor as ive had alot of fun out of the zenithstar
