I have an App on my iphone called Pocket Universe great little program, It has a quiz page and i was very suprised at the amount of constellations i could recognize, But it's only a small program and repeats it's self quite a lot.

I thought i would save the surfing time and ask if any of you know of a site that has learning tools such as quiz based ?

I use StarmapPro on my iPhone and find that a useful resource when out viewing. No quiz, though. I too would be interested in the sort of learning tools you mention.

I don't know of any astronomy software oriented for education. The ones I use are either planetarium style (like stellarium) or oriented to plot charts (cartes du ciel).

I do have a link for an astronomy podcast. It contains the recorded classes of a class in Columbus University, Ohio.

I think some tests are available there too as well as class resources.

Found this nice quiz. (In the end say you're not single and skip the registration to see your results.)

I hit most, but failed 4/6 in the stars section! Need to brush up that part.
