First Light - Full Moon thru a SW 150P

Hi,

Well, Just had a first peek through my new 150P at tonight's full moon (Before returning inside to celebrate the coming of the New Year!)

What a sight! Totally shocked by just how beautiful the moon can look, even when only magnified to 30x.

Can't wait now to spend some more serious time out there just looking at what I can find...!! Will probably have to invest a one or two filters (I'm in SW London).

Congratulations on your getting an awesome scope and your first light report through it. The moon is an awesome target but not at it's best when it's full, wait till tomorrow and then you will see a terminator form and all those peaks and valleys along this line wil emerge and look spectacular.
