Where on earth?

I'm having trouble finding the name and location of this radio telescope. All I know is that it's in the United Kingdom. Any help finding it would be much appreciated. Oh yeah, here's the photo...

It might be part of the MERLIN array - you could try the Jodrell Bank radio telescope where it's all run from - there's about 7 rt's in all if memory serves me correctly.

Thanks Brant, Talitha, Believe me, I've been google-ing and wiki-ing for the past 3 days but can't find it anywhere? It has to be in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales.

We have one nearby in Chilbolton on the old airfield. It's part of the MERLIN array. Here's a link to their website:

I wasn't sure, but the structure of the dish reminded me of Goonhilly, which was quite famous in the early 60s (Telstar) ... & the ground vegetation was consistent.

Nice one. I'm just reading about it on their site. It is Merlin, and it carried the Live Aid concert in 1985 to over 2 billion people in about 100 countries.
