Celestron Nexstar gps query

Set up a CPC925 yesterday and it quickly got a gps fix. Went through the alignment process ( Sky align) and everything seemed fine. Goto was accurate, and after 2 hours, the dew won and we started to pack up.

Looking through the handset menu, I noticed that, although it had entered the location ok ( Lat long) it had us as being in Pacific USA and time 7 hours behind. I am in the UK!

Why wont it set my zone to where I am and get the time right, or do we have to do this manually?
