IC1848 Soul nebula

Had a few hours of cloud free sky on Thursday night, although there was a near full moon in the sky. I'll take any clear sky at the moment!

This was 19 * 12min @F2.8 with my Canon 200mm prime lens, SXVF H9 camera and a Baader 7nm Ha filter. I'm quite enjoying the speed of the camera lens at the moment given the infrequent weather windows.

The image had to be stretched quite a bit despite the 12min F2.8 subs, not sure if that's to do with the near full moon decreasing the signal to noise or just that it's faint or both? I was hoping the near zero degC temperature at the time though was going to help with CCD noise.

Thanks for looking,

Rich.
