George's satellite pass log

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I have catalogued eight satellite passes so far, ranging from ISS to Shuttle to Iridium flares and space debris. I am just another who thinks that Iridium flares are one of the most spectacular sights visible without optics, and would like to create a place where I can publically catalogue them, and other satellite passes.

The build-up to Iridium flares is magical, especially with friends, because the satellite is usually visible about 20 seconds before the flare, and when the brightness seadily increases and peaks at two or three times brighter than Jupiter, you feel like you have seen something amazing :icon_eek:

Anyway, I will record them here, and I am very interested to hear from you if you saw the same pass.
