Two red meteors

Last night at about twenty to nine I was walking to my local for a couple of beers I saw two red meteors overhead heading N/E nothing spectacular about that I know it was the colour that made me think. The meteor colour was a very dull red I have seen plenty of bright ones but dull ? are there any meteor showers active at the moment ?

Yes there is the Leonid Meteor Shower starting as of today so you may have seen a few early ones

cool I'm going outside again tonight (its very clear) I will give some time up to have a look.

Tomorrow is the peak when you could see upto 100 per hour

It's clear tonight and you can bet it will total cloud tomorrow ! so I'm having a late one and try and catch Mars as well
