Does anyone out there have any ideas of what focuser I could replace the standard one with? I am using Baader hyperions and was wondering if I used them with the 2" barrel would I have enough travel to get a decent focus on objects. Also what is the cruise for on the hand control? It as set and go buttons but I have not figured out what these are for yet. I have not had much luck with the tracking either, should the base be level and would this affect the tracking? Any help appreciated. Steve

hi just gat a 250 p had an hour out with it optics are A1 but the tracking is more m25:( have you got it sorted ? also same as your self what are the cruise buttons for ? thanks andy

The most important thing for the AUTO mounts is to make the balance more neutral; that usually requires some extra weight at the back. (It's also possible to remove some backlash in the drives, but that's not for the faint of heart).
