Just wanted to say a H-U-G-E welcome to one of our new members, Silverstreak!

I'm sure when she is ready, she'll pop in and say hello.

Silverstreak is very special to me as she is my 'wicked' step-mother ('wicked' is used with a touch of irony here, as you couldn't hope to meet a nicer person).

I hope that you'll all make her very welcome (you better, or you'll have me to answer to! ;))

Hi everybody, thanks for such a warm welcome. I'm in Lincolnshire and the skies are definitely cloudy and have been every night I've been free. Hugh, TheThing is the only one of my four stepchildren to have the same interests as me, which is great. Hoping to get to the star party in April. I have binoculars and a Meade ETX 80 that I use to view the skies, oh, and a bunch of mad star gazing friends, who meet up at my place every few weeks for viewing and fun.
