NGC 1333 from yesterday

Last year I did 19x9 minute exposures of this target with my Megrez 90.

Yesterday i went back with the newtonian. This target is placed in a direction with LP from my house and I'm batteling gradients. In the image, I've done both removed flats and done a DBE in Pixinsight LE.

I might try an "all nighter" with this at 10+ minute subs as soon as I get some guiding issues sorted out :-)

20x7 minute subs. 17 Darks, Flats and flat darks.

I did a quick and simpler processing trying to keep more of the signal..... I think I prefer this ...

That's a nice image of a very difficult target..... a big step up from your last attempt.... I like the 2nd process to, the colours seem more natural, longer subs should definitely help.

.. Longer subs, and more of them ;-) There is a lot of detail that will start to show at around 10-12 minute exposures i think...

That's a great effort of a tricky object Glenn. As you say, more data will bring out more of it .
