If you had a choice which of these scopes would you choose...

I had a phone call tonight from a gent I've not seen for about a year, he wanted my advice on what scope to get.

His got a fair bit of money as he has a very good job and his trying to pick from a....

Stellavue 105 Carbon fibre Raptor with APO triplet lens.

These will be mounted on a G11 tripod and a DM6 mount. His purely visual only at the moment.

What do you guys think.

for visual i would have gone with the 132mm, it opens more possibilitys like DSO that are fainter objects.

but thats me, i have not read of any of these scopes, but they should be good performers.

but for me the larger range of targets is a nobrainer.

i am not one of those that gets a scope just because it is a certain brand, with a reputation, and large fanbase, i get the one that gives me the best performance, and broadest range of uses, for my money.
