New ota arrived on Tuesday, that night, clear sky. Took the mount outside, fitted the ota. Polar aligned perfectly. Tried the 3 star align. First up, Vega. Just inside the eyepiece, centred up, Vega faded from view. Cloud everywhere. Pack up after an hour of waiting for it to clear.

Took the dogs for a final walk at 11 pm. Look up, clear sky! Rush back and got to the second alignment star before it clouded over

Wednesday night. Clear sky. Got to the third star, alignment successful, cloud rolls in

Tonight? Not a chance. Thick cloud everywhere.

So, what do you reckon, Rain tomorrow night?

Sounds like a typical week to me.

Same for me here. Bought new eyepieces Monday and since then cloudy everynight
