will this lense adapter provide a 180 degree shot?

The 0.5x will give a wide shot with the 18-55, but not "fisheye".

The second one will give pretty much a fisheye shot, but that specific one you have linked to is for a 52mm filter thread, and the 18-55 needs a 58mm filter thread.

The 0.5X is the FL multiplier...

So your 18-55 will drop to 9mm but with the 1.6X multiplier of the Canon APS-C sized sensor you'll be at the equivalent of 14.4mm in 35mm terms...

you need about 4.5mm FL for a circular 180 degree image with a crop sensor... so the 0.25X one is the one to go for...

<sigh>

It has a 58mm thread, so it will screw straight into the front of your Canon 18-55 lenses, which oddly also has a 58mm filter thread on the front. The front of the adapter is wider than your 18-55, the back end (with the 58mm thread) is about the same size as... err... the 58mm thread.

You just buy it and screw it in. No mess, no fuss, no adapters.
