Rubber band engineering

There has got to be something wrong with any machine if it has not got a rubber band holding together a critical part, there are machines running today where it could be the difference of life or death if it was not for a rubberband doing what rubber bands do best.

I know I'm not the only one thats has a problem with my RA dial getting stuck, well its my excuse for not learning how to use it, However I have addressed the problem and come to the conclusion that the problem was coursed by a lack of rubberband. I have employed two rubberbands just behind the thread to stop the RA slipping.

It now works perfectly,
