mdstuart
Well the moon is now up but before it got above the roofs of the local houses I managed to nail NGC 7465. This is a small galaxy in Pegasus. It was very tough and only possible with averted vision.According the my research it has a magnitude of 12.6 and a surface brightness of 12.4. I could not see NGC 7463 and NGC 7464 which are close to it.I also looked at M2 / NGC 6819 and of course Jupiter! My new Wollensak 2 inch 12.5mm lens is actually very amazing. Sharp from edge to edge on my F5 scope which is amazing. The FOV is 55deg which is about the distance from M31 to M32 if that makes more sense. Really pleased!:)Mark
