ANOTHER FIREBALL!

After messing about with my 'on a budget' imaging set up I decided to pack away.

Then after leaving the garage and having a cheeky smoke I was absently mindedly looking due north at 23.00 (yes 5 minutes before this post) and saw the brightest fireball I've ever seen. If I had to guess I'd say it started no further up than 10 or 15 deg. Sadly I lost track below the line of trees but it was enough to brighten up the northern aspect of the sky.

It left a trail for a good 10 seconds after as well.

Shame the imaging session was so awful, but a great end to the evening!

Did it leave a glittertrail? Love it when they do that.. reminds me of Tinkerbelle.
