Several weeks ago i spoke to Chris Livingstone,proprietor of Chris Livingstone Telescopes regarding the annoying backlash on my EQ6 std mount in Dec particularly.

Chris told me he had sorted several of these before.

I left it for about 10 days with him, collected it, and finally got to test it last night.

All i can say is it is absolutely superb!

zero backlash in both axes, he also sorted a tiny bit on RA.

no strain of motors or any other issues.

It is like a different mount and i'm very very impressed.

Thought i'd let you know if like me, you don't fancy tackling this job yourself.
