Filter adapter help

I would like to try some widefield imaging with my Canon 450D, what adapter do I need to attach my 2" LP filter to the front of the Canon kit lens?

58-48 step down adaptor... I think there was athread about this a few weeks ago... with links to the right adaptor... a quick search of the forum should throw it up...

Will get one of those myself at the moment i do it usign 2 different adaptors...

You will probably get vignettign towards the botoom end of the zoom.... might be easily flat fielded out...
