Piggyback in February

Took this one back on the 18th Feb. It was using a Canon 350D with a 300mm telephoto lens. Piggy backed on my LX90 - exposure 80 secs. Been getting bored with bad weather and light evenings, so was browsing and thought I would share this one with you.

We will all have to wait until the Autumn to see M42 again

Marvelous. Takes me back to my pre-scope days. For a 300mm lens it worked out really well. Is that one frame?

No CC, it is 3 stacked - but the difference with so few stacked is almost nil.

I still enjoy trying piggy back shots on bigger / brighter objects or on wide field. You often get a good shot for minimum effort.
