DSI UV/IR cut filter?

Hi all, Can anyone tell me if the Meade DSI MK1 has an integral UV/IR cut filter?

Iam about to buy one and not sure if i will still need my UV/IR filter previously used with my now sold Neximage.

The colour version had one but it was detachable.

Mmmm.This is a colour one that iam buying. I presume it has one,Think i will check with the seller that it still has one before i sell mine!

No, you don't need an external one in theory. I don't know how good it is though.
