Had to return my meade and have order a skywatcher

Hey all, I had to return my Meade DS-114 scope yesterday for a refund as the mount was so unstable that everytime I tried to focus the image would either be all over the place or I would lose the image completely, plus the goto would slip and not track due to this.

So I ordered an Skywatch explorer 130 Syncscan Goto from FLO on Thursday at about 13:30. So I am waiting for that to arrive and to hopefully get some clear skies in order to get the scope out for a test run.

Was gutted though, as I liked the scope and it was my first time in 13 years that I had looked through a scope, and a decent scope for viewing as it returned some lovely views of saturn and the moon. But looking forward to new adventures with the skywatcher. Clear skies.

I love my skywatcher Explorer 130PM I'd take them over Meades any day. At my uni we had a Meade (RoCCoTO - Robotic Cyberspace Community Telescope Observatory) that was always breaking down and going wrong so you've made a good choice I say
