Hello,

Not sure about the colours again but here is my "attempt" at another Hubble Palette image, think i`m having more luck wit my "mono" shots tbh

S2 mapped as Red

O3 mapped as Blue

Ha mapped as Green

I am not sure what the colours are meant to look like, but I certainly like it!

Keep going with these narrowband tri colour images, I think they are great

isnt the point of the HST false colour palette to emphasis the structure and chemical composition of the neb...as it gives a higher contrast image than you would get with RGB...

Just for comparison...vdB142 in [sII], Halpha and [OIII] from AP180EDT F/9 and FLI ML4022 with Baader and FLI 50 x 50 mm square emission line filters

hi alan, see you found narrowbandimaging.com!. Richard is the very guy who popularised the technique back in 2001.

with regards to your fine image, perhaps a bit more red can be found, perhaps same for blue. But it is very nearly there, and a great looking image it is too.
