Help with prime focus and camera

Hi i need some advice with prime focus.When i try to take a capture with the camera i go as far as it will go with the focus but a star is a little bit out of focus.When i use some EPS every thing is fine.My scope is a 8'' f5 Lenth MM 1000 reflector Thanks for your help.Mark

Try slackening all three collimation screws on the main mirror by a couple of turns. This will bring the mirror up the tube a millimetre or two, this may be enough to get you to focus.
