meade Meade StarNavigator 130mm Reflecting Telescope with AudioStar not rotating

I am new here because I need help from the community with my Meade StarNavigator 130mm Reflecting Telescope with AudioStar.

The thing won't rotate left to right and vice versa. It will only go up and down.

I did get this thing from someone who is in college now and that person got it from someone else and they didn't give the instruction manual.

I think I was able to find the manual online but it hasn't helped me, I have also done a factory reset on the telescope, but it still wont work.

Hope someone out in the big universe can help me.

1. The left/right axis (the Azimuth Axis) doesn't appear to have a clutch.

So you shouldn't be able to rotate it by pushing with you hand.

Is that so ?

2.  Have the previous owners had this problem ? 

3. Are you using batteries, or an external 12V source ?
