Chinese fireball

Probably the best example of a fragmenting fireball I've ever come across. Not sure this isn't an artificial reentry rather than a natural meteor. Also not sure there aren't two different events going on in the footage, with the second lot of footage seeming significantly slower (more like a reentry) than the first.

Indeed. I recently read that one satellite de-orbits every 24 hrs on average currently, and we are sending up scores every week, so that number is set to increase in a big way in the not too distant future.

There was also another story a few weeks back about someone who escaped being hit by space junk by mere inches!
