AlcorAlly
The weather was very stormy last night but the sky had clear spells. I was scanning the sky through my single glazed window with a 3 inch refractor and binoviewer on low powers and came across an unusual daisy chain of stars in Camelopardalis. At the end of the chain was a beautiful tiny open cluster - one I haven't seen before. I hope to come back to it again when the weather improves and perhaps sketch the whole daisy chain (Kemble's Cascade) and then mosaic the sketches together. Should be fun!
mikeDnight
Very pretty! And even through single glazing it still a thrilling sight. Nice scope too!
