Help with 20x80s binoculars

Hi any one help me out with my 20x80s binoculars.The screw clamp with the bar going through it will not tighting.Even when i try to tighting the clamp as far it will go it still moves around the bar any ideas please.Mark

I would probably tap a larger thread into it and use a larger locking screw.

Do you know a fitter by any chance?
