A friend asked could I make a Telrad heater had a look online for a few ideas came up with one using 3 22ohm 0.6w resistors in a U configuration and a 9v battery. 

I included a switch and a led so you cannot leave it on and run the battery down. 

It gets warm so just got to try it one night needs just a bit of glue to hold things in place and it's done.
