Early Evening Moon

Here are a couple of photos of the Moon taken "afocally" using my Canon A570is digicamera, fitted to a 40mm Plossl, on my Orion Optics 8" Newt. Sharpened photo using "Picasa."

Notices that quite a few of members have submitted some excellent photos of Moon this month.

The focus is very good, it's well exposed and lovely to see against the blue backdrop. Good and sharp too.

Terrific detail Phil,tried this a few times and always mess up the exposure.
