Eyepiece help

Hi guys,

I`m looking to get one or two more eyepieces for the scopes, a Lightbridge 12", Equinox 120 and W/O ZS 80II. I have at the moment four meade 5000 plossl`s in sizes 32,26,20 and 9 and a S/W 2.5x barlow, based on this what would you reccomend upto about the £200 mark.

What did you have in mind? Planetary?

I thought maybe a planetary one or something in the line of a 13mm or 17mm. I was looking at the hyperon and W/O uwan and wondering if I would get improved views with them, with only having the Meade I have nothing to gauge from.

Hi Mike,

To be honest the Meade 5000's are pretty good - any performance gains you get will be subtle at most.

For £200 (less actually) you could get a used Nagler Type 6 13mm which work very well with the 12" Lightbridges - I only sold mine because I got a 13mm Ethos.
