Moon and Jupiter conjunction 18 Jan 2024

@Nik271 I noticed last night that we heading for a conjunction, but I've seen nothing in the usual places to notify us. Tonight they were nicely positioned and I grabbed a similar shot to yours. Nikon D800, 600mm, f/8, 1/125s, ISO-200. You must have been at ISO-100, then.

My record of this conjunction was a snap with my wife's compact digital on full optical zoom with the exposure compensation set down 2 stops. I've no idea what other settings the camera chose 🙂

Nice! Interesting how all cameras are more or less equal at the Moon at this image scale. It's probably the atmosphere that blurs everything equally.
