Jupiter with Europa & Io

It was good to get out on the evening of the 15th Jan. There was a mild overhead jetstream, although conditions on the ground were reasonably still. I was determined to get something before the end of this apparition, and was pleasantly surprised at what I got. I'd set out with the coloured cam this time, as I wasn't sure of the outcome

Very nice image Harvey. I think it was a good night as I've seen a few decent images of that double pre occultation event. Unfortunately I didn't cjeck what was coming up and chose that day to swap my planetary rig for DSO camera and rebalanced the scope, so I missed imaging it. It's nice to see what you and others got though.

Thanks Geof. Good luck with the deep sky images, you are clearly extremely talented! Unfortunately, You've missed a couple of decent nights I think. The 18th here was particularly good. - Will post image when fully processed.
