My first posting and moon shot.

Hi to all masters,

I am from Malaysia and wish to share my photos in this great forum. Hope everyone here can give me some guidance and comments.

This is my latest moon shot. It is a 6.42 Days First Quarter Moon. Taken on 01.05.2009.

Technical Notes:

Camera: Pentax K100D Super

ISO:200

Telescope: Kenko 102mm f/5 Ahcro Refractor.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

It is a very accomplished Image you have created here.They don't come much better, so no advice required for this one.

Very nice result for you. Do you have good skies in Malaysia, no light pollution for example? Looks as though the picture was taken in greyscale, or converted to in processing.

Actually there are some high clouds passing by moon surface when I took this. But surprisingly the result came out good enough.

This photos is converted to greyscale for processing.
