The buyers market!

As some of you maybe aware, there’s been a down turn in selling equipment, unless your willing to take a drop or not really in a hurry to sell, you need to hold on to it.

However, if your looking to buy, then you could be in luck! Sorry sellers, but I’ve just missed out on a bargain on EBay! A Orion Optics Europa 150, with mount, eyepieces, the whole cabboola! £20!!

Collection only, but the caveat? It did have some fungus on the mirror and other parts as it’s been stored in his garage for quite some while, but if you know what your doing, I’d say that was a BARGAIN!

It was too far for me to collect, a four hour drive, but whoever won it? Lucky bas…….

I reckon the current lull in used equipment purchase is due to the aftermath of the "covid lockdown period spending spree" phenomenon. Everyone has come to their senses now and have realized they have too much kit and are basically skint!

Think you're forgetting the most expensive time of the year has just come and gone. Everything has gone up in price so fewer impulse purchases I guess.
