IC 1848 - The Soul Nebula

Just over 10hrs imaging time on the Soul Nebula. I captured the nebula in SHO, removed the stars and replaced with stars from my RGB master. The image was combined in PixelMath using straight up SHO (RGB -> SHO) with no fancy weighting formulae. I then used the Narrowband Normalisation process by Mike Cranfield and Bill Blanshan to fine tune the tonal mapping. My seeing conditions are not great (4-5") and I'm imaging from a Bortle 5 zone, but despite this the final image came out looking OK!

Full acquisition details including equipment used, can be found on my astrobin page below.
