ASTAP's Sky Quality Meter readings

Does anybody know how to get ASTAP to populate the SQM column in the stacking window?

The SQM measurement works fine on individual files in the viewer, but it would be really good to see the column in the stacking window with all the files scored.

Can't find any info on this in any of the documentation. Have tired ticking the box for "Add limiting magnitude and SQM" and while this adds the SQM to the FITS header, it doesn't show up in the last column in the lights tab.

It's the right most column here:

The column requires the SQM value in the header.

In the viewer, first batch solve the images with option add "Limiting magnitude and SQM" to the header activated. See screenshot

Thanks Han.

Unfortunately the first time I did that I get this message:

 

The second time, it ran but the column was still blank.  I ran analyse and organise, and still nothing.

I may have missed a setting soemwhere, but not sure which?

I don't see it here. Let's check some steps to find the cause:

1) Does the viewer menu TOOLS, SQM REPORT ON AN IMAGE work?

2) If you open one of the batch processed images, does it have a keyword SQM? Once you open a file you can see the header in viewer. It should have a line like this:

SQM     =  1.925747011041E+001 / Sky background [magn/arcsec^2]  

and this line

COMMENT SQM , used 900 as pedestal value

Got it to work! 

Thank you, Han.  I hadn't thought to reload the images after the batch solve... but now I have, the column is filled.

The values look a bit unusual but that's a minor issue.

In the last development version, I changed the scientific notation of the SQM value to an easier tp read notation. So in your table it will report something like SQM=18.63.
