Extracting Video

Autostakkert is generally the preferred choice for stacking videos to create a single image. By default it loads only uncompressed videos like .ser or .avi from from dedicated astro cameras.

If your video is from a DSLR, usually mp4 compressed, then you'll need to install ffmpeg.exe into the Autostakkert folder. I've given details on how to do that in the answer to this query here. You can then load pretty much any video formats into Autostakkert directly.
