Problems With SynScan WiFi Adapter

I've been using the SynScan WiFi adapter for a while and it's been working fine and have an Atlas Pro Az/Eq-G mount in equatorial mode with an iphone. I nowstart in polar alignment but when I do a 1-star alignment- say Arcturus- it will slew completely past the star, pointing toward the ground. Today, during the daytime, it had it go to a star up during the day and it seemed to be close. I've deleted and re-applied the app. Any help would be appreciated.
