EqMod Custom Parking

I have a RoR where I use a custom park position to park my scope horizontally. Using EqMod, I have this park position set to Alt 0deg/Az 0deg and it always parks on the same west side of the pier (fortunately, the side I want it to), pointing north. My question: why does it never park (thankful) on the other (east) side of the pier when that is the same Alt/Az? Is there a situation when that might happen? Mount is a SW EQ6R. Thanks

Zero degrees on the other side is below your horizon, so it won’t do that…

The OP is using AltAz coordinates.

So zero degree altitude is, by definition, the same all the way around. But doesn't answer the question.

Ah, ok I thought as he was using an EQ mount so wrongly assumed…👍🏻
