Imaging flip mirror connectors

Just received this fantastic flip mirror from our own Radlet (thank you kindly!), which is going to help with my imaging.

I can't get my head around what I need to connect it to my scope though.  Here are photos of the flip mirror and the adapters that came with it.  I would like to attach it to my SW 127mm mak with a standard 1.25" ep apature at the rear.  I've taken the ep holder off, but the adapters with the flip mirror don't connect.

I'd also like to put an ep holder in the rear of the flip mirror so I can use it with a ccd for planetary imaging.  Can be 2" or 1.25", I don't mind.

Any suggestions please?

If I'm not mistaken, you should do the following:

1. return 1.25" attachment to your mak. It has some strange thread at the back and to use it like that - you would need special adapter (you can look up one if you wish - but need to check the thread on mak - either online or with pair of calipers).

2. Use adapter that came with flip mirror that is T2 / M42 x 0.75

From what I can see in images - you have two options to use flip mirror with - one is male T2 thread and other is male M48 (known as 2" filter thread).

If I'm not mistaken - your 1.25" eyepiece end on mak should have T2 thread on it. It might also be male one - in that case you'd need continuous T2 female thread to connect the two. In any case - look up what sort of thread you have on 1.25" eyepiece side.

The mak ep holder does have a t2 thread on it! Never noticed before.   The flip mirror screws straight on it, as you advised.  Perfect, thank you.

Now I'll get those adapters to hold the ccd in place.
