Jupiter with Europa and a hint of GRS (25/08/23)

The conditions were not as good as yesterday but I managed a capture for the record of Jupiter with Europa and GRS just coming into view. 4x120s derotation. My 8" Dob setup.

Nice one! It has a very natural look, the colour is exactly how I see it visually. This must be from 6am today , I was observing Jupiter at that time and Europa was in a similar position. The seeing was quite good in Oxford, with the 127 SW mak I could see the banding very well, only the detail in the white zones was not as clear visually.

Thanks Nik. Yes around 6. There were very thin clouds passing. I had a visual as well and it was very stable, so although Jetstream is above us it's not affecting seeing too much.
