Imaged with Paul Kummer. I didn't do a very good job of processing this first time around so I used a bit of full moon time to try again. RASA 8, ZWO 2600 OSC. I'm finding that Topaz DeNoise is very good, ironically, for sharpening. The tiny stars tended to look like noise but Topaz tightened them up nicely.

Wow, really nice! Love the star colours too.

Out of interest, what was the total imaging time here Olly? I have been considering imaging this target but with a slower scope I’m thinking several nights will be needed… not really possible with UK cloud cover lately!

45x3 minutes. That's less than we usually give a single panel image which won't be downsampled or stacked in superpixel.  We just decided to see how it looked and it was OK. The very black, sooty parts would benefit from more data but I think we'll leave it as is, probably.

Some nice separation there. I too am liking Topaz if used very subtly, what's good about it is you can also use it on daytime images so worth it if you image a lot, and not tied to a subscription model like a lot of things these days.
