Lat-Long help needed.

Recommended Posts

Have been setting up my scope over the past few days making sure everything is level and the targeting scope is in correct alinement.

But i hit a snag when the control pad asked me to imput my longitude and latitude.

It asks for 000 00 W/E 00 00 N/S

This setup is Degrees: Minutes so after finding several sites on the net that give long-lat for my postcode in that format which all said the same I put them in.

With Time, Date and Co-ordinates all in place. I set it on an easy target of the moon to check and make sure it was correct.

;) Much to my disappointment it was out by quite a margin.

Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I have had a goto mount myself and as such i had to enter the date in American style -

Month - Day - Year instead of- day - month - year as we in the UK do.

After doing that my alignment was there or there abouts...

Hope this helps..
