A productive afternoon

I had a little spare time to myself this afternoon, so I decided to manufacture two dovetails. I took photographs of the process, butI can't find the little doohickey that I need to transfer photographs from the camera to the computer. When I find it, I'll put a longer post in DIY.

My old dovetail was made of oak, and has lasted about five years since I got it. I used maple for the new one, as maple is harder, and it looks like it will do a good job. Anyway, pictures later, I promise.
