Both the Sun and Moon were very low when I went out today, only 9 degrees altitude for the Sun and 13 for the Moon, so I knew the low altitude wasn't going to give great results. I had a go anyway at the native 600mm focal length of the Evostar 80ED and with a TAL x2 barlow giving 1,200mm. Most of the close ups were too blurred by the atmosphere.

Videos were captured in Solar Continuum and Calcium K light. During one of the CaK captures, I caught an airliner transiting the Sun. I seem to manage this quite regularly during solar sessions. The video and still image are below, followed by the other solar captures.
