M51 - An integration and reprocessing of earlier data

I shot M51 with both my 200pds and 300pds in March and April this year with my ASI533 when I had it, adding some Ha as well from the 200pds.

With BlurX out and trialing, I thought it would be a good challenge for it. So I integrated my 200pds and 300pds data together, put it through BlurX, and then edited in Affinity Photo, adding the Ha, etc.

It is definitely the best M51 I've come up with so far - hope you enjoy.

Lovely image. My only comment would be that there seems to be some red speckle noise in the top-left part of the image. Is that perhaps from the H-alpha addition?

Just very noisy star extraction. But I'll have q go at cleanijng it up - thought it wasn't really noticeable.
