simmo39
hi all, over a few clearish nights I have been getting data for ngc 1333. Its clear again tonight but as I have got work tomorrow and its ruddy cold Im giving tonight a miss but the next chance I get I will add more subs. So to the boring stuff., 155 x 120 subs taken with my ASI2600mc through my Askar 400. Still a lot noise to get rid of but the dust is starting to appear. Hints and tips most welcome. Thanks for looking.
simmo39
Tried to be a little less harsh on the stretch. think it gives a better view of ngc 1333 but losses some of the dust contrast. What do you think?
MartinB
" but the dust is starting to appear" 😂 That is something of an understatement!! To my eye the dust is better rendered in the first image with a nice sense of depth but the second on allows the NGC to come through a little bit more.

Thank you, not sure on how to get the best of both images, Im going to get more data and see if that will help in bringing out Ngc 1333 more.
